Yunho-sshi.com CAPTION STORY CONTEST!
What is this?
- That’s right! Yunho-sshi.com is hosting our FIRST Caption Story Contest!! It will be slightly different from other caption contests. In this contest, there will be SIX rounds with SIX pictures each (in commemoration of DBSK’s 6th year anniversary). EACH picture MUST be used to create a caption story. (Do NOT just put random (funny) captions on each picture like a regular caption contest. Please create an actual STORY). The length of the story will be up to you. You may also choose to put the captions ON the picture or BELOW the picture. Since there will be six rounds, there will be voting for the best submission (they will ALL be anonymously posted by me (yunhosarang)). If you do not get the most votes, DON’T WORRY…you will STILL be able to participate in the next round. To win this contest, the person who accumulates the MOST points/votes will win!
Will there be a prize?
- At this point, the staff has announced that there will be three prizes. However, they have not yet been decided on. This contest is for fun, so we hope that you will join for that fact rather than to win a prize. If you win, then be assured that you will NOT leave empty-handed. We will definitely make sure that you are recognized for your efforts and, like I said, we will be working to see if we can get a good prize for you.
How are the submissions going to be posted anonymously?
- Okay, so here’s the deal. Each person participating will EMAIL their submissions (preferably in a Word document if you are just typing a story for the pics) to me (yunhosarang) at yunhosshi.contests@gmail.com with the subject being "Caption Contest: Round _____". If you are putting the captions ON the pictures, please upload them on your own image hosting site (photobucket etc.) and send me either the LINKS or attach them to your email!In the emails, please post your YHS username, real name, the country you are from, and your favorite DBSK member. I will then post up all the submissions for voting.
How long will the voting process take?
- Each round will have ONE week for everyone to participate. After that week, the ENTIRE WEEK AFTER that will be for voting. So, essentially, each round lasts two weeks. The FIRST round will be open for submission for TWO weeks. Voting will take place after the second week.
Shoot! I missed the first round. Can I still participate?
- OF COURSE! Like I said, this contest is for fun…so the more people, the better! The only thing bad thing about missing a round is that you’ll lose out on the points you could have gotten for that round. But if you’re just participating to have fun, then no worries! Everyone is welcome!
How do I put pictures in Word?
- This is really easy. Just save your picture onto your computer by right-clicking on the picture and then clicking “Save As.” Save it into a folder you can easily find. On Word, there is a tab that says “Insert,” go to your picture, and VOILA!
Important! – NO SWEARING or any sexual references…please keep it PG-13 rated (at most) as we have some younger members around the forums >.<
