[YHS 3rd!] Anniversary Celebration!

Happy 3rd Anniversary YHS!

Dear Yunho-sshi Members,

I am very happy to be here and to able to say that Yunho-sshi Forums has been up and running for three years now. Things have been rough for Yunho and both YHS. There have been too many times to count, where the staff and I have wanted to just quit. The forums have been slow and no matter how hard we tried, it just didn’t seem like we could get YHS back up and moving like it did two years ago. Yet, whenever the discussion of “so, what are we going to do now, just close the forum?” came along, we never actually could say yes to that. YHS means a lot to us, we don’t want to see it go; and that is why we are still here today. Even if people have lost interest in YHS, we will still continue to do our best.

Also, I want to use this chance to congratulate Yunho and Changmin on their comeback! In all honesty, ever since the lawsuit broke out, I did not have much faith that Yunho and Changmin could stand on the stage again by themselves; but, here they are now. I am still surprised every time I watch their new performances, the incredible amount of effort they put in cannot be denied. They have come back prepared and much stronger than before. I am very proud of Yunho. He and Changmin have proven to everyone that has doubted them that they are capable and talented men, who deserve the chance to perform again and should be respected. I truly wish the best for the both of them and may Yunho succeed with whatever he does in the future~ There are many things still waiting for him!

And now, in celebration of Yunho-sshi Forums’ 3rd anniversary on May 3rd, 2011 (founded on May 2nd, but officially opened on May 3rd, 2008) we have just launched three contests. Many goodies will be given away. We hope all of you will come and join us in the fun!

YHS’ forum layout and twitter page has been changed with a refreshing and bright anniversary look as well. I hope everyone like it. It was difficult to make during the free time I had in between study sessions, writing papers, and working on final group projects. But, I think it is definitely worth all the stress. Yunho looks gorgeous. ^__~

Those words you wrote speaks for all the staff here at YHS and we strive to continue to update and improve the forms for all the fans that follow Yunho and HoMin's activities.

We hope that everyone continues to provide feedback, updates, news, graphics, fanfiction, etc. to the forms.

We love seeing that our forms are active and that we get to hear opinions from other fans like us.

At certain times we have felt down about the forms being inactive but we're here standing and hoping that everyone will help us promote, improve, and help grow YHS.

Thank you everyone for helping us and continue looking-out for us.

Congratulations Yunho and Changmin you deserve all the praise you've been receiving because you've fought for everything you achieve and will achieve. Keep making us proud!

Genna, thank you so much for being honest and sharing your feelings. Things have just been slow in general in DBSK fandom ever since the lawsuit... but we have to keep our heads up and have hope that things will turn for the better on both sides.

I appreciate all the anniversary activities you always put forth. They're so fun and just wonderful in getting all Yunho fans involved.

Truly thank you for being such a wonderful admin.

Lastly, Yunho and Changmin really are amazing. They carried themselves really well with this comeback. I am really looking forward to even more Yunho and Changmin soon.

I truly believe that as a result of the lawsuit, a lot of Homin fans have been hiding. LOL

Not because they have nothing to say, but because of the passiveness that the fans of these two gentlemen have usually demonstrated. The demographics of the fans of each member clearly explains the less activity in YHS.

Most Yunho fans are undoubtedly in their late teens, 20s, and up. I would guess that they would fall within their late teens and within the 20s, which means that they are all in college at the moment or just starting to get the hang of their jobs etc etc, leaving them almost no time to go online and do what they used to be able to do.

I remember coming onto YHS every free moment that I had in high school (which was a lot) LOL. Now, I'm in college, and I barely have time to sleep.

The point I wanted to make is that, even though YHS doesn't seem to have as much activity as before, it's not to say that Yunho fans have lost their love for him or DBSK. Anyone who has been touched by the actions or songs of these men will always have a piece of them in their hearts, and while they are busy going on with life and can't get the time to express their love online with other fans...they will always support them in spirit.

We have 1000+ members (right?) on this forum who have all joined for a reason. Though most do not post, my hope is that they will find a bit of time throughout their busy schedule to drop by and say 'hi' once in a while, to reconnect with all the reasons why they love Yunho in the first place, and to catch up on their favorite man.

If not, I thank all the members who have joined and made YHS what it is today. Though most people may believe that the forum is dead, it cannot truly be so when there are people here who try their best to keep it alive, for our faith in Yunho is stronger and reaches further than our ability to post in a beloved forum.

truly agree with everything you said. We're all busy with our lives now, but it doesn't mean we love them any less. They're still the boys we grew up listening to and that won't change.

I totally forgot to mention in my post that I absolutely ADORE this layout. it's so spring-y and makes me happy when I log on LOL. seriously love the pictures used too - really liked the Heroes photoshoot

Your right about the fact that many of us are either in college, about to emter, or are already in their 20s.

I guess to tell the truth most Yunho fans speak through actions rather then words because I was watching some old videos and comparing the fan masses. Undoubtedly I have to say JYJ had the MOST fans because well let's face it, I think they're flirts but not on purpose.

It can go either way but I'm glad that we all support them in our heart.

LOL, JYJ have more "active" fans who go around and express how they feel. Yunho's fans are more likely to internalize their pride and other emotions.

Both types of fans are fine...though I sometimes wish that Yun fans are more expressive...but what can we do right?

To put it simple, Yunho fans are sophisticated and calm compared to JYJ fans.

I remember when JYJ came into town for their The Beginning comcert in NY...those people outside the venue to put it plain and simple were carzy!

They stopped traffic and the police had to come put order at the venue.

I hope and if in any near future, HoMin comes to the Northern States, it'll be more organized and hey, maybe they'll even go on MTV like BoA did.

I would really like to see that and the only way,that will happen is if we continue supporting Yunho in his activities and promote him. =)

It would definitely be great if HoMin could come! That'd be so awesome. I missed them when they came to LA for the SMTown. >< (will be seeing JYJ this month though ).

I agree that a lot of Yunho's fans are kind of like Yunho himself. Very sophisticated!

I wouldn't be surprised that half of his fans are richies or at least have a decent living.

I really want to get tickets for JYJ but I'm not sure with all his crazy fans here if I'll ever get even inside the building let alone hear them. I'd invest good money for seats, I learned the hard way when you go to a concert and you have no seats...foot pain.

As for getting back to Yunho, I really wish they come up North because it's really hellish going down to LA when they have Madison Square Garden, Lincoln Center,Jets Stadium, City Field, and the Yankee Stadium. I'd understand if they went to the middle of no where but seriously...you have a variety of venues and you stick to only LA? It would be nice if they came to Pensylvannia, Florida, Boston, NY, and Chicgao. I want to see when they appear on MTV and I can start jumping of joy.

To the old members, congratulations.. we have managed to go through and got ourselves a wonderful anniversary opening.. I am so proud and happy! As for the new members, welcome to Yunho-sshi.. I hope you will enjoyed yourself here.. having fun and staying strong and keep faith on Yunho? LOL...

Lastly, I love Yunho.. and I hope he would remember us here and perhaps pay us all a visit soon? Kekeke...

I agree with most of the comments above about Yunho's fans being too busy with their lives to post because I'm a college student myself. It sucks cuz most of my time is spent studying or doing lab works so I have no time left to fangirl. I also noticed that I fangirl a lot less now. I can no long stand making immature or spazzing comments. Maybe I have out grown that stage but my love for Yunho WILL NEVER DIE. He is forever the source of inspiration for me to strive to a better, more caring, kind, forgiven, and determined person.

For this reason, I am truly thankful that you kept the site going. Because it keeps me updated about news of Yunho. I do check the site whenever I have some free time but I apologize for being a silent reader. I will try to comment more and contribute more now that my summer vacation is here.
